Madeleines is looking for her perfect forever family!
This 12 week old darling is truly a gem. She was one of the first to be picked from her litter (Goldie and Merlin’s “Tea Time” Litter), but sadly, after spending a very short time with her new family, she had to be urgently returned due to no fault of her own. She has spent the time since then continuing her training and socialization.
Like all of our puppies, she has been raised in our home so she has all of the household exposures you would hope for~ vacuums, brooms, music, and the general hustle and bustle of a family.
This girl is so confident, smart and loving! She loves attention, from adults, kids (ages 1-12) and strangers alike (even our vet!). She adores other dogs and she’s been socialized with cats. She loves to snuggle and is a big fan of fetch and playing with her rope toy.
She is incredibly fun to train and she is wonderfully smart and motivated to learn. The sky is the limit with this girlie.
Currently, she is crate trained and sleeping through the night without accidents (besides an occasional excited sprinkle on her way to the door, which is age appropriate). She willingly goes outside to potty when taken out. She knows “sit” and has been taught manding. Manding is an incredible tool to give a puppy so they have an appropriate form of communication that isn’t pushy or demanding. Madeleines has been taught that if she sits and waits, she will be given attention. So I will often find her weaving around my legs while I’m walking and as soon as I stop, she excitedly sits, knowing it’ll be time for pets. This is extremely helpful for families with little kids and those who want a dog to be polite when guests come over.
Madeleines has received 3 sets of her puppy vaccines and only needs one more to finish her vaccine series and then her public walking adventures can begin. Since she has not finished her series yet, her excursions have been in a stroller. She even frequented a restaurant with us and loved getting to snooze while we ate dinner on the outdoor patio. She rides wonderfully in the car and does not struggle with car sickness.
She is charting to be in the 30-35 pound range as an adult.
She is $2900 with a spay contract.
She would be eligible to be placed with a small, in-home, like-minded program, as she has an exceptional temperament and phenomenal structure, dentition and genetics. She has been tested and is DM Clear. Breeding rights are an additional $2000 for this girl.
